Champions League Quarter Final Draw

The Quarter-Final draw was finally made for the UEFA Champions League. With Real Madrid, AC Milan, Marseille, APOEL, Benfica, Bayern Munich, Bayern Munich and Chelsea left, here are the games that will be played in the next round.

QUARTER FINALS:

1. APOEL VS Real Madrid

2. Marseille VS Bayern Munich

3. Benfica VS Chelsea

4. AC Milan VS Barcelona

SEMI FINALS:

Winner of Game 2 VS Winner of Game 1

Winner of Game 3 VS Winner of Game 4

With all respect to APOEL, Real Madrid were handed a relatively easy draw for the Quarter Finals but are likely to face a hard test ahead against Bayern Munich to make it to the final. As for the other draws, Chelsea have "come back to life" after their brilliant showing against Napoli and now have to be wary of Benfica's threat. The biggest game of the draw though is AC Milan against Barcelona and many will be waiting to see what will happen there.

All the talk is about the potential Clasico Final if Real Madrid and Barcelona are able to make it there in about two months time. But I think it would be better to wait until then before talking too much about it now since we still have a few games to play until then.
