Real Madrid 5-1 Real Soceidad

After last weeks major dip in form, Real Madrid have bounced back in the perfect time. Jose Mourinho, Rui Faria, Pepe and Lassana Diarra were suspended. Also, Angel Di Maria, Ricardo Carvalho, and Jose Callejon were injured.

Real Madrid started off with the best team the possibly could have: Iker Casillas, Alvaro Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Raphael Varane, Marcelo, Sami Khedira, Xabi Alonso, Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, and Gonzalo Higauin.

The Men in White started off perfectly with a great Gonzalo Higuain goal after only 6 minutes of the game. With Real Madrid keeping the pressure up throughout the first half, Cristiano Ronaldo was able to double the lead after 33 minutes and Karim Benzema made it 3-0 on the 41st minute. Xabi Prieto was able to give Real Soceidad a little bit of home after scoring a beautiful goal, which deflected off Sergio Ramos, to make it 3-1 after the first half.

Real Madrid kept on trying in the second half but slowed their game down a little bit as Benzema was able to score an amazing chip after a great assist by Xabi Alonso on the 49th minute. Ronaldo made it 5-1 on the 56th minute and the game ended with that score.

True, Real Soceidad seemed to walk onto the pitch "beaten" and didn't really seem to get into the game. But with the Champions League games coming up this week, this was a win that Real Madrid really needed to get their self-esteem back up and hopefully get back to winning ways after everything that has happened last week.

Also, it was great to see some faces on the pitch that many haven't seen in a while. With Fabio Coentrao coming on for Benzema; Nuri Sahin coming on for Sami Khedira, and Jese entering the pitch for Cristiano Ronaldo, it was a few minutes that those players really needed.

Last night felt so good: a win by a big margin, all our forwards scored beautiful goals, Nuri finally got to play a tiny bit, Jesé too, and Rapha was awesome!

Poor Sergio... I hate it when Iker goes into complaining mode. Did you see what a hard time he was giving Ramos when they were walking back to the tunnel at half time. Iker, man, you're the goal keeper, it's your job too! Give your CBs a break!

I'm glad Ramos, Cristiano and Coentrao didn't receive any yellow card, we're keeping them for another Liga match at least.

Real Madrid had a great game .. And I know what you mean about Iker, he needs to realize that mistakes do happen and he just needs to chill .. Everyone had a good game though, and Jese was quite impressive in his few minutes .. Hopefully we're able to keep this up!
